ECHORR Back to School – Old School Race

For the first time in 28 years MRWHO is planning to host a club race when ECHORR visits on Sept 10, 2023…Back to School time. MRWHO Speedway was built in 1989 using 70s era AFX track long before custom routed tracks were the thing. History and character instead of glass smooth and perfect…Old School.

During the past two years a “Multi-Million Dollar” (scale of course) upgrade and renovation has taken place. Earlier this year MRWHO Enterprises purchased Randy’s Tub…Old School.

Any race called “Old School” should have a Nostalgia class race. ECHORR SS/Fray class race will also be run, both on the Tub. An IROC “Back to School Skool Bus” race (Jag chassis) will be held on the Speedway.

If time allows and there is enough interest the event will be capped off with an IROC Indy car race on the Speedway using (old school) Tyco 440X2 cars.

Planned lunch of Meatball sammiches and other fixins will be provided.
