Durant Raceway 03/26/23

With an open date on the calendar due to the relocation of Randy’s Raceway, Hiram Durant and the Durant Raceway hosted a March TJet Race Event. The event was well supported with 15 racers pulling the trigger.

Durant Raceway now holds 2 race tracks, The famed Durant Raceway Road Course and now the Randy’s Raceway II Road Course. Word is that an Oval is in the planning stages

ECHORR Racing was held on both tracks with Super Stock Fray, Nostalgia and TFX Spec Class racing.

Hiram Durant, Don Auriema and Dan Wirfel stood in victory lane after a great day of racing action in Fleetwood, PA. Durant in true fashion scored the Fray Super Stock feature event win. Donny scored the TFX Spec Class feature win and Turbo Dan Wirfel won Nostalgia, but not without some drama. In a rare event finish – Dan and Don Auriema tied with the lead scores and track placement. A 10 lap race run off was contested and each driver won in the green lane and had 9 laps in the yellow. Dan edged out Donny with a better lap time so we could score winner – Dan’s 7.520 beat Donny’s 7.642.
